Our Story:
Sean Finnan
Sean is Managing Member of Sierra Foxtrot Consulting, LLC and a certified executive coach. He also pilots a Gulfstream VII-G500 for a Boston-area company. He served over 25 years as an active duty officer in the U.S. Air Force, flying the C-130 Hercules and leading servicemen and women at several organizational levels. His military career culminated in Germany, where he was the 86th Operations Group Commander. Sean led ~800 military, civilian, and contractor personnel in six squadrons, spanning two countries. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas, and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Ethics from the U.S. Naval War College. He is married and the proud father of three teenage children. They happily live in Jamestown, Rhode Island.
The Logo
“S” and “F” are obviously the initials for Sean Finnan, and the phonetic alphabet letters (Sierra Foxtrot) are a nod to his military background. The eagle represents both Sean’s last Air Force rank and his desire to help his clients soar to new heights. The lightening bolt pays tribute to Sean’s time playing football at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where the bolt adorns the Fighting Falcon’s helmets. Those four years (and a lifetime playing team sports) had a profound influence on Sean’s approach to teamwork, leadership, and followership.
